Fourth in a series of freeform compositions, I think I regressed a bit with this one, and dipped back into my old bag of tricks in order to try and make it more interesting. I even called myself out and used the word “crutch” for texture, because I could feel the spirit of the exercise slipping away as I latched onto a couple of regular tricks. Not my favorite, but valuable lessons none the less.
