Composition 9 is a brutally honest look at the lifeblood of any creative in this industry… ideas. I consider myself an idea person. I absolutely love the ideation process– the brainstorming, imagining budgets don’t exist or physics are irrelevant or even a brands history or legacy doesn’t apply. I love that blue sky approach! So the thought of running out of ideas is like losing a limb to me. Funny story though, I just started working on a freelance project and immediately produced 12 ideas for executions. A bunch of them are probably crap, but maybe I’m not out of ideas just yet.
